Sonam Kapoor is all out promoting her upcoming -- Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. The actress, who just got married to businessman Anand Ahuja, has always been quite vocal about her priorities in life. She has always maintained that her family has played an important role in shaping her life choices.
Known for speaking her mind, Sonam recently talked about that one advice she gave to Janhvi Kapoor, late actress Sridevi's daughter and her cousin.

In an interview to a leading magazine, Sonam said Janhvi had already learnt a lot and she would just like to tell her to always "keep your head down and work". Sonam said, "I have already given her enough counsel. When I joined the industry, her mom (Sridevi) helped me quite a bit, including with my makeup. I remember I used to go to her house and have a lot of conversations with her. I know she had those talks with Janhvi already, but all I can say is, that she needs to be professional, respect hers and everyone else’s time, which is something she knows already. There will be a lot of naysayers, but she just needs to keep her head down and keep working."
Sonam has evidently played a dutiful elder sister to Janhvi. She made sure she was there with her little cousin during Sridevi's death. And now that Janhvi is soon going to make her on-screen debut with Dhadak, seems like Sonam is ready to guide her diva cousin with all the lessons she needs in the movie business.
