Sunny is "completely immersed" in his directorial venture with Karan, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, says Bobby

The filming of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas has been something of a rollercoaster experience. The film, directed by dad Sunny Deol, will launch his son, Karan, who will be the third generation actor in Hindi films. Sunny has been sounding all too aware of the responsibility of giving his son the right launch. “It is a huge task since it is Karan’s first film. I want to give my best to it. I am a bit conscious as I am launching him,” he had admitted.

In a recent revelation, Bobby Deol expressed how Sunny has "completely immersed" himself in this directorial venture and that "It’s all he eats, drinks, talks about and breathes.”

Taking a trip down the memory lane, Bobby also added how this reminded him of his days as a debutant 23 years ago. He said, “Bhaiyya had put his own career on hold to make sure my launch was shaping up the way he had planned. He was the producer of the film, but he was involved in everything. His friends used to tell him that he shouldn’t ignore his own work in the process, but he paid no heed. It was all he was interested in. And it’s exactly the same now."

He further added how the whole project is closely guarded and kept under wraps.

“I think Bhaiyya is so close to the film that any feedback, any opinion, might confuse him and possibly throw him off. He needs to make the film he wants to, and we’ll see it closer to when it’s ready, and I’m sure it will be perfect.”

The shooting of the film had begun in earnest in February but had come to an abrupt halt when the 22-year-old Karan suffered an injury while shooting for a song in Manali. Karan had to be rushed for treatment to Mumbai, and filming had come to a screeching halt.
