Ryan Reynolds’s superhero film Deadpool 2 is doing roaring business at the Indian box office. The film’s English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions are all reaping rewards at the cash registers, but one actor who is having the last laugh is Ranveer Singh. Ranveer was roped in to dub for the Hindi version of the film and he sure did an awesome job. His involvement did come as a surprise but once you get used to the news you realize that the selection was bang on target. Ranveer’s dubbing is at par with Reynolds’s wit and he does a swell job.

Keeping in mind with the character the filmmakers refused to tone down the superhero’s dialogues and what we got was Ranveer’s gift of the gab with full abandon. He cracks obscene jokes, makes Bollywood pop culture jokes and takes digs at several actors. The film is equally hilarious and enjoyable in Hindi as well – making it one of those rare films which manage to keep the essence of the original film alive.
In Deadpool 2, Reynolds’s Wade Wilson tries to make a team of superheroes keeping in line with any superhero film and in order to keep it gender neutral calls it the X-Force. If you’ve watched the film then you would know that Brad Pitt makes a cameo appearance as Vanisher from the team. The fate of the team is extremely short-lived as all of them except a girl survive in the film. Now, Ranveer was also asked by a leading daily that which actors will he take in his team and he promptly came up with the names with adequate reasoning behind his selection.
He picked up actors like Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Anil Kapoor for making to his X-Force.
Ranveer picked Arjun Kapoor because he reasoned that his bad jokes are deadly and has the capability of killing people.
He named Tiger Shroff for the simple reason that the martial arts learned actor will be good for the team.
Sonakshi Sinha was picked because she has killer thumkas and uncle Anil Kapoor was picked for his ‘killer’ good looks.
Now, isn’t that quite a team? We’re sure if ever a Hindi film is made with an ensemble cast playing superheroes then Ranveer’s choice of actors will be a perfect fit.
