In a press release, talking about the growth Parmanu has registered at the Box Office, Vashu Bhagnani, the distributor of the film said, "Parmanu's solid performance at the box office and reviews is a classic example of acceptance of content across centers.. After clocking a good opening number on Day 1, a near 60% jump on Day 2 is a rarity we have seen for any films in recent times. We at Pooja Entertainment are proud to be releasing it across India."
Producer and lead actor John Abraham added, "While Parmanu's opening day at the Box Office validated our conviction to celebrate the unsung heroes who made India a Global Super Power in 1998, the film's stupendous growth on Day 2 has convinced us even more that this true-life human story was waiting to be told. Nothing makes me happier than the fact that despite all odds my production house, JA Entertainment and our partners stood by each other and ensured that we take this story to every proud Indian. I'm so grateful to our audience for accepting our labour of love.
The movie, directed by Abhishek Sharma, was released on May 25.
