Grapevines have been filled with assumptions of an imminent marriage and jumped mileage after Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were reported to have had a secret engagement in Sri Lanka where they were holidaying with their families around New Year. There was a lull in news about their relationship after the actress shot down speculations of all sorts, and Ranveer backed with a quote too.

In the wake of Sonam Kapoor's wedding to the love of her life, Anand Ahuja, buzz was strong that the next jodi to enter the club with DeepVeer. While there is no official backing to these reports yet, a video from the recently concluded GQ Best Dressed featuring Deepika in a quick chat with Anil Kapoor has come under the scanner, let alone qualify for a confirmation.

We all have our sets of guesses, lip readers at work! But the common outcome is that perhaps, in all good faith, we think Anil asked the Padmaavat actress about the long-standing rumours of her nuptials with Ranveer and the reserved and shy beauty chose to let her dimples do the talking and rounded off the talk thanking the veteran. Did she actually confirm she is tying the knot? Your guess is as good as ours.

Everybody has been predicting that the much-awaited exchange of vows will happen before this year ends. Probably in Switzerland or Sri Lanka. But PeepingMoon.com sources have given us strong reason to believe that the Deepika-Ranveer wedding will indeed be solemnized by the end of 2018. And it’s going to be in the months of November or December for sure.

How do we know? Because Ranveer has blocked those two months and is not allotting any dates to anybody in Bollywood in this period. He wants to be totally free and is not telling anybody what he’s going to be doing in November and December. Deepika has no films on hand yet after Padmaavat so she is free too.

Is a good news around the corner? We will have to wait and watch!

Meanwhile, Anil and Deepika also exchanged talks over Sonam's wedding. Red carpet commitments at Cannes kept the actress busy from Anil's first born's wedding extravaganza but she did apologize for the same apparently. In another video, Anil greets DP and probably says, 'I missed you yaar.' An elegant Dippy responds saying,'I'm sorry, I was at Cannes.' Much like making up for the absence!

We'd be lying if we said you didn't miss out on anything, Deepika! Ranveer including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Papa Anil were at their best to delight the guests.
