So many questions and no answers! This suspense is too much to handle. As the morning ritual goes, Rajkumar Hirani has shared yet another poster from the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju. This time around Ranbir Kapoor, playing the titular role is joined by Vicky Kaushal. However, we cannot place our pick on who exactly Vicky is playing.

With the poster, the filmmaker wrote, “Meet Vicky Kaushal. Such a refined actor and pure joy to work with him. He plays Sanju’s best buddy”. This poster oozes out fun and excitement. Seated in a club, donning leather and fur retro outfits, both the boys exude mischief through their eyes. This ‘best buddy’ is said to be Sanjay’s companion since Rocky, his debut film. Everybody loves Sanjay and he has quite a few ‘best friends’. We wonder who Vicky will be seen as. All we can vouch for is that this duo has some really memorable times together.

In an interview with a leading channel, Vicky shared that he was ecstatic about working with Rajkumar Hirani. He also mentioned that this film has been a tick mark on his wish list. Though, no confirmation about his character has been given yet. Earlier we have seen Ranbir as Sanjay in an extremely unbelievable resemblance through various phases of his life – right from a debutant actor until the current time. The film highlights the ups and downs of Sanjay’s life through the years, making it an unfiltered and unapologetically real story.

An 85-second teaser was released earlier that gave us a peek at what we could expect from the film and clearly, the expectations have been set high. Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film features Ranbir Kapoor along with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst many others. The film releases on June 29, 2018. Though, a little treat to satisfy our interests! The trailer of Sanju will be releasing in two days.
