Too much suspense? Turns out filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani knows no such thing. The posters for his upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor, have all of our attention. Today, Hirani released a new poster featuring Ranbir and Anushka Sharma on his Twitter handle. And the internet is flipping over who Anushka could be playing in the film. All of the guesses have been brought down to nothing by the actors and the makers.

Unlike a simple one-line introduction for all the characters so far, Anushka was given an elaborate introduction. Though, no revelations were made about her character. Hirani wrote, “And here is my dear friend Anushka. It’s a special appearance….but she worked on every nuance of the role for days together. Can anyone guess who she plays?….Will reveal tomorrow at the trailer launch.” Well, the good news here is, the trailer launch is just a few hours away.

One of the most anticipated answers is Madhuri Dixit. Though, Anushka has previously stated in an interview with a leading news agency that she is neither playing Madhuri nor any journalist. While we keep ourselves busy with countless guesses; Sanju definitely has our curiosities piqued. Especially those crazy curls, remember, Madhuri's 90's hairdo!?

The film is based on superstar Sanjay Dutt’s roller coaster ride life. The makers have stated that the film is an unfiltered biopic. Ranbir playing the titular role has already dropped our jaws open with his uncanny resemblance as Sanjay. So far the posters have presented the many high and low phases in Dutt's life.

An 85-second teaser was also released earlier that gave us a peek at what we could expect from the film and clearly, the expectations are high. Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film features Ranbir Kapoor along with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Tanna and Dia Mirza amongst many others. While the trailer comes out tomorrow the film will release on June 29, 2018.
