Now you can watch the Laila Majnu teaser along with Veere Di Wedding

Producer Ekta Kapoor who is recreating the 1976 hit film, Laila Majnu with Imtiaz Ali is all set to launch the teaser of the film tomorrow.

Imtiaz Ali who has also penned down the story for the film will bring forth his signature charm which you can get a glimpse at when Veere Di Wedding hits the theatres. The television tsarina a.k.a. Ekta, who is producing both the films couldn't have chosen a better way to up the hype around this remake as audiences gear up for the release of Veere Di Wedding in large numbers.

The teaser gives us a glimpse into the world of its characters and the promise of Love, that lasts forever! Coming from a storyteller like Imtiaz Ali, the teaser has immense intrigue value.

“Laila Majnu is an eternal story of everlasting love. It’s perhaps the most popular love story of all times. For the film, we wanted a fresh approach in all aspects - a fresh cast, a fresh script and a fresh setting. We had a great experience making the film and can’t wait to showcase it to the world," says Imtiaz Ali.

Other details related to the casting are still under wraps. The film which is helmed by Sajid Ali, presented by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji motion Pictures is scheduled to release on August 24th, 2018!

In an interview with a leading daily, the director expressed how it was working with elder brother Imtiaz and going about his first directorial debut. He said, “What is worrying everybody is that I am taking so much time in writing it. He also divulged the detail about his film being set in Kashmir. “It’s a classic, intense Laila Majnu story. Though I don’t know how close I will get to it, I would like to contemporise it,” said Ali as he described the theme of his script.
