Mating his two dogs, skydiving and more - 5 things on Ranbir Kapoor's bucket list

After watching these larger-than-life portrayals on the silver screen, actors are often mistaken for resonating the tastes of their superlative characters in their regular routine. Sure, they wear expensive clothes, drive swanky mean machines and always step out looking camera ready - but beneath all the layers of luxe and lucrativity lie simple beings who very often lead parallel lives. Sample, Ranbir Kapoor.

For a role he played early on in his life, and the two relationships he had with actresses from the same industry, Ranbir is touted to be the playboy. But, a little digging reveals he is a sweet, shy Mumma's boy who loves to be by himself amid his book collection and all things Supreme. In a bare-all interview with a leading magazine, the Sanju star further provides testimony to his attraction for the simplest and smallest joys in life by listing down things on his to-do list.

Prod him about what's on his bucket list, Ranbir jots down,

"Skydiving. Winning a cup for Mumbai FC [the ISL football team that he co-owns]. Buying a house in New York, and spending some time there. Building a weekend home in Pavna. Mating my two dogs. They’re mastiffs, so it’s really hard to find girls."

The slightly lean, reserved boy is pretty chill on how he wants to go about the success and failures on the professional. This tonic for the tired eyes, prefers being in his own 'little cocoon.'

Sho how exactly he spends time by himself? He answers,"Lots of things. How I see it is that I need to love myself, I need to be comfortable with myself, even if I’m just reading a book, or watching a really silly movie on Set Max, or playing football. I have two amazing dogs, and I love being around them. Stuff like that puts life in perspective because everything can’t be exciting, and if you can enjoy mundaneness, then you’ve cracked it. In general, I can be pretty detached. I don’t have many relationships – as in, friends, or even family. You could say it’s a manufacturing defect."

From where we see it, you are the calm in the chaos, RK!
