When asked about his family by a leading daily, Abhishek mentioned, " We are like any other ordinary family. Once everyone is inside the house, the outside world is shut. I think that is what makes our bond stronger."

He also added how getting married and having a family changed him. "My parents had always given me freedom to do whatever I wanted. I was carefree. After marriage and my daughter's arrival, I have become more responsible. Aishwarya is my buddy, a friend. I can discuss anything with her. And having Aradhaya has been a wonderful experience. Simply love spending time with her."

Abhishek has been making a lot of headlines with his sports ventures. The actor, a self-proclaimed sports fanatic, owns the Pro-Kabbaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers and the Indian Super League Football team Chennayin FC. He is also the captain of the All Stars Football Club Team that include Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Dino Morea amongst the many others.

On the work front, Abhishek will be next seen in Manmarziyaan, with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, while dad Amitabh Bachchan will be seen doing a cameo in Ayan Mukerjee's directorial, Brahmastra.
