With such amazement around the film, seems like Kaala is just ready to draw more audience to theatres. After much controversial release of the film, the makers would heave a sigh of relief if the response to the film continues to be the same.

It should be noted that the superstar's last releases -- Kabali, Lingaa and Kochadaiiyaan could not perform as expected at the Box Office. Kaala, which also features Huma Qureshi and Nana Patekar in pivotal roles, is expected to do wonders at the ticket window.

While his film has started garnering an overwhelming response, Rajinikanth himself has flown to Darjeeling, a hill station in north eastern India. As per a report in a news agency, the actor will be spending his next 37 days in the hills for the shoot of an untitled film by director Karthik Subbaraj.

Part of the shooting would be done in the internationally famous Himalayan tourist town Darjeeling, where Mount Hermon School and St. Pauls College would be among the locations.

In the hill town of Kurseong, the shooting site would be Christian Forest Rangers College.

Already, 700 technicians have reached Darjeeling, of whom 140 are busy building the sets, with the rest working untiringly to get all the logistics in place.

According to the director's team, the shooting would begin from Thursday, and continue till June 15 in Kurseong.

Darjeeling would be the venue from June 17 to July 6, following which the shooting party is again slated to move to Kurseong and stay there till July 12.
