Anil Kapoor is currently gearing up for his ensemble film Race 3 release which is releasing on June 15, 2018. The film stars Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Freddy Daruwala and Daisy Shah besides Anil. Directed by Remo D’Souza, this is the third installment in the Race film franchise and coincidentally Kapoor is the only actor who has starred in all the three films. Anil would share screen space for the first time with his daughter Sonam Kapoor in the film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The film also stars Juhi Chawla ad Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles.

While talking to a leading daily, Anil spoke about how proud he is of his daughter Sonam and son Harshvardhan who have managed to chart a career path for themselves without his backing. He said that he is proud of the fact that Sonam has become a fantastic actress. She had found her own way with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi 6 and Ram Madhvani’s Neerja. He said that working with Sonam is like working with any other actress as she is professional and make his job easy.

Anil will also be working with son Harshvardhan Kapoor in Kannan Iyer’s Abhinav Bindra biopic. Talking about his youngest, Anil said that his son too has found his own way from Mirzya to Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. He said that if he was acting or producing their debut films, he wouldn’t have been so proud of him as he would have felt guilty of promoting them too much. He is immensely proud of them because they made it on their own and found directors who want to work with them. Anil further said that they may be Anil Kapoor’s children but there are so many star kids from film families around but how many are trying to raise the bar?

With the way, Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding is going at the box office and the fact that Harshvardhan still has quite a few films in his kitty even after delivering a flop in his debut goes on to say that Anil does have adequate reasons to be proud of his actor children.
