Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi took everyone by surprise by tying the knot last month. With only immediate family and very close friends in attendance, most of their well-wishers were completely unaware of their plans. But now that the deed is done, the couple is keen on celebrating their union with all their family and friends.

Angad reveals that they will be hosting a reception in the first week of July. They have already checked out a few venues but are yet to settle on one. The new groom good-naturedly grumbles that Neha needs to give him five days to figure the whole thing out but it’s difficult to pin her down!

The reception, we can be assured, will be a suitably grand affair. Angad has loads of friends in cricket, which he played professionally, and in cinema. The gregarious and well-liked Neha’s list of friends ought to be even longer.

The date is yet to be finalized, as Angad is keen on ensuring that all their special ones make it for the celebration…something that’s easier said than done! For instance, his bestie Ashish Nehra is out of town, and both Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan, whom he will not have the reception without, are caught up right now.

In between reception planning, Angad and Neha are also looking for a home for themselves. Admitting that their wedding was sudden, Angad shares that they took the decision spontaneously when they were sitting and talking about life. They had already known each other for a while, Neha’s mother adored him and he was keen to settle down with her.

What’s more, the couple is so tied up with their individual professional commitments that if they hadn’t tied the knot in May, they would have had to wait till next year! Neha is leaving soon for the US, while Angad himself is juggling three projects. With the knot tied, they can now leisurely get on with other important stuff like a splashy celebration!
