After BJP chief, Amit Shah visited Madhuri Dixit and Sriram Madhav Nene as a part of his party's Sampark for Samarthan campaign along with Maharashtra’s CM, Devendra Fadnavis, it was Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who visited Bollywood's Bhaijaan Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan. The trio met at Salman's Galaxy Apartments for 30 minutes in the city to discuss PM Narendra Modi's achievements along with senior party leader from Mumbai, Raj Purohit.
Gadkari has been carrying booklets containing details of the various promises fulfilled by the Modi government during these visits.
"Met Sri Salim Khan ji and Salman Khan as part of Sampark for Samarthan campaign. Have discussed the achievement and initiative of Modi government in last 4 years," the Union minister tweeted after the meeting.

The ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ campaign envisions 4,000 BJP functionaries, including chief ministers, union ministers and panchayat leaders from all over the country contacting one lakh people who have made achievements in their fields to tell them about the government’s achievements.
