Rajkummar Rao has become the talk-of-the-town not only because of his powerhouse performances but the number of films that the actor will be seen in. This is going to be a very busy year for the Newton actor. After appearing in Hansal Mehta’s Omerta the actor will be next seen in horror-comedy Stree opposite Shraddha Kapoor, in Fanne Khan with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, in Mental Hai Kya opposite Queen co-star Kangana Ranaut and in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
In an interview to a leading daily Rajkummar opened up about working with co-stars Kangana, Sonam and Shraddha. The actor had kicked off a month-long schedule last week for Mental Hai Kya in London. Speaking about reuniting with his Queen co-star Kangana, Rajkummar said, “It’s always great to work with good co-stars. Kangana and I have come a long way since our Queen (the 2014 Vikas Bahl directorial) days. She is one of the finest talents in the country with multiple National Awards and I’m glad we got to reunite. London is a lovely city but this time I will miss being in Mumbai during the monsoons.” He also spoke about collaborating with director Hansal Mehta and girlfriend Patralekha for a film that has been tentatively titled Swagat Hain.

Rajkummar was all praise for co-star Shraddha with whom he has the upcoming horror-comedy Stree. Heaping praise on his co-star he said, “Shraddha is a lot of fun. It’s probably the most fun I’ve had on a film set. She is a hard-working girl and everyone who has seen the film has a lot to say about our onscreen chemistry.” Rajkummar plays a tailor in the film and he had to learn how to use the sewing machine with his legs which according to the actor was “very exhausting”.
Rajkummar is once again doing a film with Sonam after appearing opposite her in Dolly Ki Doli. Talking about the glamorous actress he said, “Sonam is a good friend and we share a unique bond. We sometimes catch up even when we’re not working on something together. Anil (Kapoor) sir is also a part of the film, with whom I’m working on Fanne Khan. His energy is infectious.”
