After the surprise success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, the good-looking Kartik Aaryan is suddenly finding himself on the wish-list of B-town’s top producers. Karan Johar is said to be keen to collaborate with him and now there is news that he has been confirmed for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production, no less.

In fact, recently, riding high on the success of his Luv Ranjan hit, Kartik was asked which rumour about himself he would like to have in the media. In response, he had quipped: “Kartik Aaryan working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali”.

That dream is on its way to becoming a reality, what with the actor, who first hit the headlines with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, practically confirmed for the SLB film. Now the news gets even better: he could well be paired opposite Janhvi Kapoor in this production which is pegged to be a love story.

Janhvi Kapoor coming on board would definitely give the project an added edge. The actress, however, is yet to confirm her presence in the film. With her debut film, Dhadak set to hit theatres on July 20 this year, it will be a crucial time for the daughter of Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi.

In her first interview with a magazine, Janhvi had spoken about her favourite actors. She revealed that she likes Rajkummar Rao, Dhanush and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among the Bollywood actors. Praising them, she added that she gets attracted to someone who can immerse her, and all these actors are so expressive that she can’t help but just be in awe of them.

No, Kartik Aaryan’s name had not made her list but we are sure that if and when the SLB film materializes, it will be riveting! Earlier, Bhansali had allegedly discussed a film on the Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam love story with Kartik. However, it had failed to materialize. All eyes now fixed on what SLB has in store for Kartik and Janhvi, should she also come on board.
