Sui Dhaaga: 'Mauji' Varun Dhawan is 'baffled' with 'Mamta' Anushka Sharma

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made In India is in its last leg of shoot schedule. After shooting the film in parts of Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, the two stars are back in Mumbai to finish the rest of the work on the film. Announcing the same, Varun recently took to social media and also praised her co-star for being intelligent.

He uploaded a photo on Instagram and wrote:

He posted the same photo on Twitter along with one more and wrote:

Both Anushka and Varun are playing a rural couple in the film and it's for the first time the two have been paired together on-screen. While Anushka plays the character of Mamta, an embroider, Varun plays Mauji, a tailor in the film. Directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by YRF, Sui Dhaaga is slated for release on September 28.

Apart from this film, both Varun and Anushka have got more interesting projects in hand. Varun is simultaneously shooting for Dharma Productions' Kalank, which also features Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Anushka has a biggie coming up in Zero in December this year, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif with her.
