Salman Khan's latetst release, Race 3 has set Box Office on fire. Despite receiving negative reviews from the critics, the big Eid entertainer garnered Rs 63. 5 crore within two days of its release. The third day, Sunday, was expected to drag it past Rs 100 cr at the Box Office and seems like it has, quite impressively.

As per the early estimates, the Remo D'Souza directorial has minted Rs 38 cr (approx) on its third day taking the total to Rs 105 cr (approx) in its opening weekend. The movie has been widely criticised for taking audience for a ride by luring them to theatre and offering nothing in the name of Salman Khan. However, as they say the name is enough, seems like audience is just happy seeing their favourite star on screen, and that compensates for everything else for them.

Race 3, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah as female leads, collected Rs 29. 17 cr on its opening day (Friday) and Rs 38. 14 cr on Saturday. The movie is the third Salman Khan starrer to have crossed a coveted Rs 100 cr mark at the Box Office in three days. Earlier, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) had minted Rs 114. 93 cr in three days, followed by Sultan, which released on Wednesday and collected Rs 105. 53 cr till Friday. The third on the list being Bajrangi Bhaijaan at Rs 102. 6 cr.

Apart from Salman, Race 3 also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles. The movie was released on June 15 and is jointly produced  by Ramesh Taurani and Salman Khan.
