OMG: No entry for Salman in London could lead to change in 'Bharat' locations

Okay, here’s a hard knock for team Bharat… Just a month to go before shooting tees off and this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial might have to rearrange its entire location schedule. The film, starring Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra, is poised to be shot in London, followed by schedules in Spain, Portugal and Poland. However, now the entire plan will most likely need to be re-drawn and the reason is its leading man…

This April, the megastar had been convicted in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. He received bail thereafter. However, this issue could impact his entry into the UK. Chances are he could be denied a visa owing to his conviction in the case. Salman has been allowed to perform in a series of concerts in America, as they had been announced beforehand.

However, his Bharat shooting stint in London and Europe could face trouble. This has apparently led producer Atul Agnihotri, who is Salman’s sister Alvira’s husband, to instruct director Zafar to focus on new locations. Following the film’s first schedule in Punjab, the film could well be shot in Abu Dhabi and even Canada. Adding to their woes is the fact that Salman is not permitted by the court to shoot for 45 days straight outside the country. Even if permission was to be given, it would attract undue attention.

A final call regarding the Bharat shooting locations will be taken once Salman returns from the Da-Bangg tour that will head to the US and Canada. Khan will be joined on this tour by Katrina Kaif, Daisy Shah, Sonakshi Sinha and others. Incidentally, in between shooting for Bharat, Salman is also expected to start filming for Dabangg 3. The film is being produced by his brother Arbaaz Khan and directed by Prabhudheva, who is also accompanying him on his overseas concerts. The star had recently joked about returning to the old way of working, shooting multiple films simultaneously.
