Not a luxury hairdresser but Varun Dhawan goes to a ‘nai’ for his ‘Sui Dhaaga’ look

Count on Varun Dhawan to come up with the best ideas to promote his film. After Shoojit Sircar’s unusual love story October, Varun started filming for director Sharat Kataria’s Sui Dhaaga along with Anushka Sharma in Madhya Pradesh. Varun has also been shooting for Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Kalank meanwhile for which he had a full-beard. Recently, he returned to film the last schedule of Sui Dhaaga and required a change in the look.

While he could have easily opted for a luxury hairdresser, Varun chose to cycle his way to a local barber shop in the suburbs of Mumbai. He even shared a video on his Instagram handle. He wrote, “Mauji ki mooch bhi hai made in INDIA #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia @yrf @SuiDhaagaFi”

According to a source, “Varun is starting the last leg of Sui Dhaaga shoot in Mumbai and he had to get into his Mauji look again for the film. Varun had a full beard and he had to shave it all off and get just the moustache and for this, he decided he would go to a local barbershop. Varun cycled his way to a local barbershop called ‘Bharat Salon’ in Mumbai’s western suburbs. The barber was surprised to see the superstar at his salon and it was a dream come true to give the superstar his look for Sui Dhaaga. He was spot on and Varun loved how efficiently he had managed to get it done. Varun thanked the barber for giving him just the perfect look for his movie!”
