“Flirtatious vibes? Maybe the next time”: Here's what Priyanka had to say about Nick before the two went public

Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas are apparently dating and talk of their alleged relationship is everywhere. The couple has been spotted together a little too often for talk not to get around. After cosying up on a yacht and a cute Instagram exchange between the two, further followed by recent photos of Priyanka walking arm-in-arm with Nick at his cousin’s wedding, the tongues have been wagging. Clearly, this can’t be ‘just friends’!

However, the gossip grapevine swung into action after their first appearance together at the Met Gala. Grabbing quite a few eyeballs, the two went on to become the talk of the town in La La Land.

Naturally, when she appeared on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’, Priyanka had to face queries about her relationship with Nick. Andy Cohen put her on the spot on his show, asking, “Priyanka, you were with Nick Jonas at the Met ball. He was your date because you were both wearing Ralph Lauren and you decided to go together. Does that mean you got ready together?” Priyanka laughed along with the guests as she replied, “Well, the same hotel…”

Cohen continued, “Were there any flirtatious vibes between the two of you? She hedged, smiling, “We didn’t have time yet. Maybe the next time we meet!” “Really, the Met ball is like 18 hours,” Andy quipped, to which she reacted, “Well, we had a really fun table and there were so many other things distracting me.”

Asked who else was at her table, she rattled off the names, but Cohen wasn’t getting much out of her. When he asked about the possibility of her dating Nick Jonas in the future, she smiled and refused to say much, adding, “These questions on the show…”

Earlier in the year when Priyanka was quizzed about Nick on Jimmy Kimmel’s show she said, “Yeah, we were on the same table and we already know each other. So he was like ‘Hey, you wanna go together?’ And I was like yeah, OK, let’s go together. It ended up working out.”

Kimmel, however, did not seem content with her reply. “You know when one day you become the director of FBI, you will be subjected to a polygraph test. And I am gonna make sure they are all Nick Jonas related questions,” he said.

At the recent family wedding, Priyanka Chopra's and Nick Jonas’ rumoured relationship appeared to have got the thumbs up from Nick’s eldest brother Kevin, as well. Asked about meeting Priyanka ‘for the first time’, Kevin clarified, “You’re gonna have to ask Nick about that. But we’ve met in the past. She is super awesome but at the same time that’s Nick’s thing and he can say what he wants to say.”

While paparazzi pictures and videos prove that Priyanka had a great time with Nick’s extended family and was spotted laughing and chatting with his cousins, she is keeping her lips zipped so far.
