The Prabhas-Anushka Shetty marriage rumours received a boost when his uncle Krishnam Raju recently announced that the Telugu superstar would tie the knot soon. This comes on the heels of media reports that the Baahubali pair is definitely romantically involved and will cement their relationship soon. However, both Anushka and Prabhas are keeping their cards close to their chest…

During a recent media interaction, Anushka went ahead and declared that while Prabhas was a good friend of hers, they are not getting married. She said, “We are very good friends. But we aren't getting married. I am in no hurry to settle down.”

Prabhas was deliberately vague, as he declared, “It's my private matter and I don't want to reveal anything.” He also added that he would inform his fans when he got engaged.
However, his statement does not categorically deny his alleged relationship with Anushka either. Fans are still hoping that the gorgeous pair who shared such sizzling chemistry onscreen as Baahubali and Devasena, will indeed have a fairy-tale ending in real life as well.

Much before the release of Baahubali 2, it was reported that Prabhas would soon marry a girl, who did not hail from a film background. However, reports of his closeness to Anushka Shetty continued, fuelled by the fact that they formed a successful pair in many films.

Meanwhile, there were also reports about Anushka Shetty's folks searching for a suitable boy for her. So far, none of these stories have been proved true – both Prabhas and Anushka are still single and unmarried. This lends weight to the claim that they are involved with each other and are biding their time till they tie the knot.

Prabhas apparently continues to recommend Anushka’s name for the films he gets offered. He had reportedly even suggested her for Saaho, but the producers want to cast someone from Bollywood and Shraddha Kapoor eventually bagged the role.

Now, while Anushka has demolished the idea of marriage, Prabhas’s cryptic quote hasn’t doused the marriage rumours completely. We have our fingers crossed!
