Holi songs are simply not that easy to come by in Hindi films anymore. Which is why we are thrilled to bits to learn that Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will soon start shooting for one for their upcoming Bharat! Priyanka is already synonymous with the popular ‘Do me a favour let’s play Holi…’ number from Waqt: The Race Against Time. We are expecting no less than a chart-buster this time around as well! Shooting will tee off in Mumbai from July 17. It will be wrapped up in three days, post which the team will leave for Punjab for the next schedule.

All eyes will be peeled for this lead pair, who last came together in God Tussi Great Ho in 2008. Things have only got better for them since then, with both Salman and Priyanka touching unimagined heights of success. Naturally, interest is high in their upcoming Bharat, which is an official adaptation of the South Korean film Ode To My Father.

The off screen chemistry between Salman and Priyanka is apparently rocking already. A day after Priyanka Chopra was announced as the female lead of the upcoming Bharat, Salman decided to welcome her with a tweet. He also joked about the fact that Priyanka has been mostly working in Hollywood films of late. Her last Bollywood movie was Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangajal (2016).

Salman had tweeted, “#Bharat .. welcomes u back home @priyankachopra . See u soon .. By the way humari film Hindi hai ;) . @atulreellife @aliabbaszafar #Eid2019.”

Without missing a beat, Priyanka responded in the same tone writing, “UP Bareilly ki pali badhi hoon janaab..#DesiGirl forever. Very happy to be a part of #Bharat and see all of u on set!! @beingsalmankhan @atulreellife @aliabbaszafar Eid2019.”
