Kangana Ranaut is an ace actress who has proved her mettle in every film that she has done till date. She is well-known for her exceptional style and plays different characters in each of her films. She ensures that no two characters she plays ever look the same or have the same characteristics. Even when Kangana played a double role in Tanu Weds Manu Returns her two characters were as different from each other as chalk and cheese.

In her upcoming film Mental Hai Kya where she reunites with her Queen actor Rajkummar Rao, she once again sports a totally different look. The film is the Hindi directorial debut of Prakash Kovelamudi and in the film, Kangana sports a short crop of brown-bronze curls, tinted retro glasses and a wardrobe that is contemporary but chic. Designer Sheetal Sharma who has designed Kangana’s look and worked with her previously on Nikkhil Advani’s Katti Batti told a leading daily that the actress’s look is a combination of the vintage and the new.

Apparently, the second half of the film has the actress on a path of self-discovery while travelling through London and shows her in a combination of trench coats and over-sized blazers, prints and embroidered ensembles. The designer said that Kangana’s look in the film is a ‘do-it-yourself’ kind of look. Kangana has experimented with her curly hair with stylists Brendon Degee and Divya Naik.

Sheetal further told a leading daily, “Kangana’s mass of curls is cut short post interval and she fixes it in place with a hairband or ties it up in a knot or a bun. We have been working on accessories like glasses, trendy earrings and bags too for her look in the film.” She complimented the actress on her amazing sense of style and credited her for brainstorming with the team after pack-up.
