Actor Jimmy Sheirgill is the newest entrant in the cast of Kangana Ranaut starrer Mental Hai Kya. The actor will be seen playing a theater director in the film, which also features Rajkummar Rao in the lead. The shooting of the film is currently undergoing in London and the actor has flown to the city for the same.
Talking to a leading daily over a call, Jimmy mentioned that he's totally excited to be reuniting with Kangana in a film after the successful Tanu Weds Manu franchise. He said, "She is one of the finest actresses we have today. We understand each other’s space as actors and get nostalgic sometimes".
He also talked about working with director Prakash Kovelamudi, who's making his directorial debut with Mental Hai Kya. Jimmy shared, "Prakash is a really nice guy and fun to be around. We even partied together recently while celebrating the birthday of a crew member".
Apart from this, the actor is also gearing up for Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, which has Sanjay Dutt in a leading role. Jimmy's line-up of films also has Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi, a sequel to 2016 hit Happy Bhaag Jayegi, in which he will be seen reprising his role of Daman Singh Bagga. The movie is being directed by Mudassar Aziz and features Sonakshi Sinha and Jassi Gill in pivotal roles.
