Ranveer Singh shares a video of 'Sabse Bada Gaana' from Rohit Shetty's film Simmba

Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have teamed up for their upcoming film Simmba which also stars Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. For the first time, Ranveer is playing the role of a cop in his career. As is the want of all Shetty’s film, this one is also going to be larger-than-life with lots of comedy, drama, and excitement. Ranveer and Rohit have been religiously sharing pictures and videos from the film's sets on social media which has managed to pique everyone’s interest and curiosity in the film.

A few days back Ranveer and Shetty had shared a video from the film’s sets which featured them holding the police crime tape which instead of reading ‘crime scene’ read ‘hot set’. In an Instagram story yesterday, Ranveer called Shetty as the ‘King’ for being one of the most successful directors in Bollywood. Today, Ranveer shared a video which showcases the set of a song being shot at a large scale with numerous background dancers. Ranveer’s video is hilariously funny as he says that Shetty is getting extravagant with the song and calls the song as 'Sabse Bada gaana' of his Bollywood career. Shetty and choreographer Ganesh Acharya also makes an appearance in the video.

The video shows a lavishly mounted set with numerous background dancers. There are several dancers practising steps wearing orange safas and dressed in white kurta-pyjama. A group of artists dressed as Brahmins can also be seen in the video. Ranveer’s commentary in the video is really funny, as he starts by saying, “Dekho, yahan kya ho raha hai. Mere life ka sabse bada gaana shoot ho raha hai. Dekho itne log, itna taam-jhaam, ki sar chakra jaye. Basically the Boss is not held back this time.” Shetty makes an appearance and tells Ranveer, “Bahut kharcha kar raha hoon tere upar.” The duo can be seen laughing and enjoying their camaraderie and then go on to introduce the choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

Simmba features Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer. The cop caper is slated to release in December this year.
