‘Satyameva Jayate’ Trailer: John Abraham is back with another tale of patriotism

After the success of John Abraham’s Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, the actor is back with another film titled Satyameva Jayate. While Parmanu brought to light the success of India’s first nuclear tests carried out in Pokhran, Satyameva Jayate tackles the issues of corruption. The film features Manoj Bajpayee, debutante Aisha Sharma and Amrita Khanvilkar in the lead roles. It is touted to be an action-packed cop-drama.

The shooting began in March earlier this year and was wrapped up in May. Besides all the high-octane drama, Moroccan-Canadian dancer Nora Fatehi will sizzle the audience with her amazing moves. The actress shall be seen sharing the screen space with John for a song. Nora will be seen dancing on the 1990’s recreated version of Dilbar, which was picturized on actors Sushmita Sen and Sanjay Kapoor for the film Sirf Tum.

John, who looks perfectly fit for the role of ... in the film, has confessed that he is looking forward to taking up roles and film which will contribute to his growth, even if that means being picky and having lesser work. Talking about biopics, which are a current trend in the industry, John told a leading daily, "I don’t think I am worth it. Not at this point in time, at least. I have a long way to go, and so much to do."

The theatrical trailer for the film will be attached to Rajkumar Hirani directorial Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju. It was the producers of the film Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani, who had been keen on naming the film Satyameva Jayate. Directed by Milap Zaveri the film is slated to release on August 15, 2018, alongside Reema Kagti’s Akshay Kumar starrer Gold and Dharmendra, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol starrer Yamla Pagla Deewana 3.
