Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who is riding high with his latest release Race 3 minting gold at the box office is now all set to reunite with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The two have delivered memorable films as Khamoshi: The Musical, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Saawariya in the past. The latest buzz is that the two might reunite after a decade for the film Inshallah. Reportedly, Salman was the first choice of Sanjay when he wanted to direct Bajirao Mastani but things didn’t work out and the film eventually got made with Ranveer Singh in the lead.
Reportedly, Sanjay’s production house had recently registered the title Inshallah with Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA). It is speculated that the new film will star the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor in the lead. Movie business analyst Atul Mohan, today tweeted that Salman and Sanjay will be reuniting for Inshallah which will be a 2020 Eid offering, after Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat that will release next year during Eid.

Sanjay made his directorial debut with Salman in Khamoshi: The Musical which also starred Manisha Koirala, Nana Patekar, Seema Biswas and Helen in the lead. The film was critically acclaimed but was commercially unsuccessful. He later gained prominence with Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which had Salman, Ajay Devgn and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. The film was a blockbuster hit and fueled the much-publicised romance between Aishwarya and Salman. Salman and Sanjay next teamed up for Saawariya which was the debut film of both Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. Rani Mukerji also featured in the film. Salman played a supporting role in the film.
Salman’s Race 3 has been panned by the critics as well as some section of the audience, but it is still raking in the moolah at the box office, all thanks to the actor’s star power. If things go as planned then Salman and Sanjay will once again team up for Inshallah and looking at their earlier collaborations it should be a much better film than Race 3. The film will start after Salman completes Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat that also stars Priyanka Chopra, Tabu, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover.
