Alia Bhatt is keeping her lips zipped. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has been more forthcoming when it comes to confirming they are in love and in a relationship. “It's really new right now, and I don't want to over speak,” Ranbir had declared in an interview with a magazine. “It needs time to breathe and it needs space,” he had said, adding, “It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit.”
He had even spoken of his wedding plans in another interview, adding, “After so many years of being in films, I've come to realise that I need a life beyond films and some personal space. It keeps me grounded and has value for me. Tomorrow, I may reach different heights of superstardom or might end up as a big failure, but that should not matter to me. What should matter are the relationships I've built in life - I also want to get married and have my own tribe. So it comes from that place of giving it dignity."

Of late, however, faced with questions about Alia during every media interaction, Ranbir is growing more circumspect. He recently maintained, “If I’m in a relationship at that point and someone asks me, of course I’ll address it. Sometimes, you and your partner decide not to talk about it and sometimes you’re okay because there’s nothing to be shy about or hide.” He went on to add, “Of course, we don’t want to make a mockery of it and make it a reality show, but just to put things in perspective and that this is happening — respect my privacy and respect the fact that I’m sharing this with you.”
Now during his latest interview, he was quizzed about whether he is aware of the acronym ‘Ralia’ which fans are using to combine his and Alia’s name. Refusing to react to it, he maintained, “No, I am not aware of this. But, I hope they use it during Brahmastra release - that’s the film we are coming together with…So looking forward to that.”
Keeping it professional, are we?!
