Saif Ali Khan's Go Goa Gone, that released in 2013 was one of the initial Bollywood horror comedies that did well at the Box Office. Five years from then and the team of the film is ready to bring the second film in the franchise. Yes, Go Goa Gone 2 is in works and actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen reprising his character of Boris in the film.
An excited Saif himself revealed the same to a leading daily. He said, "We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second instalment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script".

Saif, who just got finished promoting his Netflix's series, Sacred Games, is eyeing Go Goa Gone as a successful franchise. He mentioned that if the second instalment is liked by the audience, he will have a good popular franchise in hands for future.
The actor had also co-produced the first film, which was directed by duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Talking about his experience of working with the directors, he said, "Raj and DK have a unique sense of humour. Like the earlier movie, this one, too, will be equally quirky. That’s what drew me to it when they discussed the idea with me".
He also revealed that both Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das, who were featured in the first film, will also be seen in the second film. Go Goa Gone 2 goes on floors in January next year.
