Even if you weren’t too big a fan of Anil Kapoor, you will be after you hear what he recently did… The actor has been shooting non-stop for his upcoming releases, Fanney Khan, Total Dhamal and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. That totaled to a whopping 88 days of filming! Sure, that was hectic for the star and equally if not more for his staff who accompanied him on these frenetic schedules.

Now with a break in shooting Anil is off on a well-deserved vacation not just for himself but for his loyal, hard-working staff as well. He, along with his manager, spot boy, bodyguard and hair and make-up artist, have left for a four-day vacation to Singapore and Indonesia. This bunch of happy holiday-makers left on Monday for Bandung, and it is going to strictly all play no work on this junket.

This is Kapoor’s way of saying a heartfelt thank you to his ‘main men’ who are constantly by his side during the long hours of work. And yes, it is a gesture that absolutely warms the heart.

Kapoor, who just gets better over the years, made his mark in the Salman Khan-starrer Race 3, winning applause for his performance. It was his third appearance in the film franchise after Race and Race 2. Besides teaming up with Aishwarya Rai and Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming Fanney Khan, and his daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja in the upcoming Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Total Dhamaal will see him collaborate with his Nineties’ co-star Madhuri Dixit.

In a recent interview, he had spoken about working with his co-stars all over again, saying, “I am fortunate I got an opportunity to work with these beautiful girls, who have made a mark in their personal and professional lives. They carry themselves so beautifully that working with them is an honor. They will make these three films (Fanne Khan, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Total Dhamaal) special by being in them.”
