Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se starring Deol's to NOW release on THIS date

The Deol trio has kept us entertained for years, both individually and together. Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol gave us the comical family drama and a complete entertainer Yamla Pagla Deewana first in 2011 followed by its sequel in 2013. Now, they are all set to bring in the third installment of the YPD franchise this year.

Yamala Pagla Deewana Phir Se has created enough buzz since it's announcement. Earlier, the film was slated to release on August 15, 2018. However, an official statement by Sunny Deol informed that the release date has been moved to August 31, 2018.

“Since August 15th has two patriotic films GOLD and SATYAMEV JAYATE which are topical for the day and on 24th we have our family friends Anil Sharma's son being launched who has our blessings. Our film is a wholesome family entertainer hence we have decided to release our film YPD Phir Se two weeks later on 31st August 2018," stated the official statement.

Interestingly, the film will still not have a solo release. Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu's Andhadhun and Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree are also releasing on August 31.

The teaser that released earlier last month introduces us to 'characters' in the film. Dharmendra as the man who is too colorful for his own age, Sunny as the quintessential good-guy-at-heart but the Hercules, who is invincible because of his strength and Bobby, the good-for-nothing guy-next-door. YPD Phir Se also features Kriti Kharbanda as the leading lady.

The film will also see a cameo by Salman Khan who will feature in a special music video along with Sonakshi Sinha, who agreed to star with her Dabangg co-star when he asked her.

Yamala Pagla Deewana Phir Se has been produced by Kamayani Punia Sharma and Aarushi Malhotra. It also stars Asrani and Satish Kaushik in supporting roles.
