A few nights ago we saw Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan lived it up at the wrap party of their upcoming Kedarnath. The two laughed and joked, even as they posed with director Abhishek Kapoor. Not long ago, we had also heard that Sushant had had a chat with the director and informed him that Sara should be given as much screen time as him.

Sushant is supposedly very keen that Sara makes her mark as a powerful performer with her debut film...Which is why he went out of his way to ensure that the young debutante, daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, gets a fair deal.

There had been serious hiccups when Abhishek had apparently sent a notice to Sara over her giving Kedarnath dates to her next, Simmba. The matter had been settled amicably but Sushant was a tad concerned that no bitterness creeps into the professional space. This was what had prompted his conversation with the director, about giving Sara extra mileage in the film. Though Simmba will help Sara establish herself as a commercial actor, Kedarnath will apparently show her acting chops.

Now, even as post-production of the film is in progress, Sushant can’t help complimenting and encouraging his young co-star. He says, “When I started my Bollywood journey five years back, I was excited about learning new things and showcasing my talent. I saw the same enthusiasm in Sara. Her zest reminded me of my early days. She knows her craft well and is confident about her way ahead. I am sure she will do well.”

At the wrap party, while posing for photographers, one couldn’t miss the little exchange between Sara and Sushant. As both of them smiled for the shutterbugs, Sara leaned into Sushant, “Kahan dekh rahe hai aap?” She wanted to know so that both of them could look in the same direction and strike the perfect pose! Loveable, aren’t they?
