Irrfan, Mithila Palkar and Dulquer Salmaan’s film Karwaan is up for release and the trailer has already garnered huge buzz because of its witty content and superb acting by the three lead star cast. The film is directed by Akarsh Khurana and revolves around a road trip through Kochi and the neighbouring cities. It features a song in which the three stars are seen rapping to a Malayalam number. The number has lyrics in English and Hindi written and composed by Slow Cheeta aka Chaitanya Sharma, who has rapped for it as well.
Reportedly, it was while working with Akarsh on a play a few years ago, that Chaitanya met Masaan actress Shweta Tripathi whom he married last week in Goa. Their wedding was fun and quirky with Shweta showcasing their love story through her mehendi designs.
The song in the film Karwaan is called Dhai Kilo Bakwaas which is a play on the popular phrase Dhai Kilo Ka Haath and speaks about people who evade a fight by chickening out.

The rap song was filmed at a timber mill in Kochi and apparently, the local crew lent their vocals to the song. The local Malayali crew mouthed all the Malayali slangs in the song. The song has Malayalam, a Hindi chorus and rap bits in English making it a multilingual song.
Film’s sound designer Anish John and executive producer Sanjeev Kumar Nair have sung the Malayalam bits in the song. Akarsh maintains that it is the most fun song that he has ever heard. Showering praise and applause on Chaitanya, the director also said that he loves the singer’s singles and try to work with him whenever he can.
