Shah Rukh shoots an underwater sequence for Zero and we are reminded of his Twitter video

Zero is turning out to be the most challenging film for Shah Rukh Khan in many ways. The film sees Khan essay a dwarf. Naturally, VFX is at the center of things, with advanced visual effects being used to make Khan's character three feet tall. One of the most-awaited forthcoming films, interest had sparked further when Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai jointly made the title announcement of their upcoming film featuring the star as a vertically challenged character.

Zero, as the title reads, gave a glimpse of SRK dancing around in a vest and boxers. Since then the posters - one featuring Shah Rukh and the other, a title poster that sees a sky full of stars over the horizon with the title Zero on it and a caption that reads, "Hum jiske peeche lag jaate hain...Life bana dete hain" – have been stoking interest, along with the teasers.

Zero, also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma has completed its final schedule in the United States of America. It was a mammoth 45-day schedule for the team, which is pegged to bring in a whole new level of VFX. Filming also took place at NASA.
Now it emerges that during the long schedule in New York, Shah Rukh also shot key underwater sequences for the film. Apparently, it was a very challenging portion and the shoot was extremely demanding. Fortunately, filming progressed smoothly and the scenes were wrapped up in the course of a day.

As far as we know, this isn’t the first time SRK has gone underwater. Earlier this year, the superstar had filmed an underwater video, especially for his fans as he reached 33 million followers on Twitter. With gelled hair, dark glasses and even sporting a bowtie, he proceeded to deliver his heartfelt message to his adoring fans… by plunging straight into the pool! Even as the audio of dialogues of his various hit films played, he exhaled underwater and then emerged with his winning smile. Impossible to beat this Don!
