Akshay Kumar is back with yet another wave of patriotism with his latest film Gold. The title suggests what the film is about, the story of how India as an independent nation won its first Gold Medal at the Olympic Games in Hockey against the Europeans. Akshay plays the role of the driving force behind this legendary win, Tapas Dan, coach of the Indian Hockey Team. Making his dreams come true are his apprentices, played by Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Sunny Kaushal and Amit Sadh. Through thick and thin and many difficulties that Tapas faces in his journey, his wife remains his pillar of strength and mirror for a reality check, played by Mouni Roy.
The first song of Akshay and Mouni starrer Gold is out now and is titled Naino Ne Baandhi. The track beautifully captures the beautiful relationship between a husband and wife. Akshay and Mouni are the much in love couple, who face everything together and are each other's strength.
Its first look was unveiled recently through the actors' Instagram profiles. Just like its title, the song, too, oozes love and romance. Naino Ne Baandhi is sung by Yessar Desai who given us recent hits like Pallo Latake (Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana) and Twist Kamariya (Bareily Ki Barfi). Arko Pravo Mukerji of Nazm Nazm fame has composed music for this melodious track. Taking their promotional activity to a new level, the actors performed the song at a live event.
