Sanjay Leela Bhansali has already made a mark with his magnum creations like RamLeela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. The ace film-maker has now set out to try his hand at a different genre with the remake of South superhit, Pulimurugan. It was earlier revealed that Hrithik Roshan was Bhansali's first choice for this action-adventure film but when approached, the actor turned the offer down.
The film, Pulimurugan, which means the one who kills tigers, marks the journey of a warrior-hunter who fights the man-eating tigers to save his village and people. The original film stars Southern Superstar, Mohanlal in lead. Now a little birdy tells us that Bhansali, who bought the remake rights to this movie, was very keen on roping Hrithik for this role but things didn't work out and the actor turned down the role. No reason has been stated for the same yet.
Well, what do you think it could be?
