Ace director Karan Johar is known to be an Instagram star. With his bomber jackets, star-studded frames and pouty selfies, he takes the internet by storm with every post. On Saturday evening, he Instagrammed a still from his early days, where he seems unrecognizably healthy...and a school-going Sonakshi Sinha is a part of it!

The still is from an awards night where Karan recieved an accolade, which was presented by Subhash Ghai, Shatrughan  Sinha who were accompanied by a cute-girly named Sonakshi Sinha. From the looks of it, Sonakshi must've been in her middle-school days back then.

Apparently, Abhishek Bachchan was the one who shared this photo with Karan. The director took this to his Instagram and captioned it as, "I have to thank @bachchan for sharing this with me! Remember this @aslisona ?? I have won an award but look like I ate the ceremony!!!! #majorthrowback#doublechinalert"

On the work front, Karan and Sonakshi are all set to collaborate with Kalank. We at Peepingmoon.com have got an interesting exclusive information on her character. We have learnt that Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing Aditya Roy Kapur’s wife in this Abhishek Varman’s directorial. “Sonakshi has a short role in Kalank. She plays the role of a banjaran who falls in love with Aditya Roy Kapur. They get married but soon after she is killed in the partition,” a source in the know informed us exclusively.
