Dharma's segment for the Netflix anthology, Lust Stories featured Kiara Advani in the lead. Post its success, looks like Karan is all set to work with Kiara again on the Vikram Batra biopic, currently an untitled project, which is co-produced by Shabbir Boxwala Productions. The actress is reported to share the screen-space with Dharma's SOTY star, Sidharth Malhotra.

The actor will start working for Shotgun Shaadi opposite Parineeti Chopra very soon, but looks like he already has a project lined-up post that. As sources close to trade told an entertainment portal, the producers of this untitled project were firm on casting Sidharth as Vikram Batra- a war veteran, who's life-story is not only brave and courageous but enthralling as well. They also report that the authorities have now locked the female lead for the same, that being none other than Karan's Lust Stories actress, Kiara Advani.

This is the first time Sidharth and Kiara will share the screen-space and the makers are firm that they will do pure justice to the characters. Director Vishnu Vardhan might be a part of the project too.

Sources in trade suggest that the movie will go on floors by October 2018, aiming for a mid-2019 release. No official announcements have been made for the same yet.

On the work front, Sidharth is all set to work with Parineeti, yet again post Hasee Toh Phasee, for Ekta Kapoor's Shotgun Shaadi, where he plays the role of a thug who kidnaps men and forcefully gets them married.

The actor is also rumoured to be a part of Ek Villian 2, the sequel to his previous collaboration with Ekta Kapoor.

With all this happening, seems like Sid's fans can now relax and wait!
