Katrina Kaif to share screen with Priyanka Chopra in Salman Khan's Bharat

Salman Khan's Bharat is piquing our interest for a long time with its star-studded line up of actors. Salman and Priyanka Chopra who entertained us together first in the 2004 hit comedy film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi will be back after 2007's Salaam-E-Ishq for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. Like that wasn't exciting enough, soon, it was learned that the sizzling Disha Patani and Tabu will be joining the lead duo. Now news floats in that Katrina Kaif will be adding more glam to the already glamorous film cast.

According to the sources of a leading Bollywood magazine, Katrina has bagged an important role in the film. However, she won't have screentime as much as PeeCee.

The magazine's source said, "It’s not known how or where she (Katrina) will be found in the plot. But she is definitely a part of Bharat in a very significant way. See, Ali Abbas Zafar (director) is a very close friend of Katrina. She was the leading lady in his first film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and they have remained close friends since then. Priyanka was the female lead in Ali’s Gunday. He is close to both the stunners and will ensure they are given ample space in Bharat, although it would be an out-and-out Salman Khan film"

It is also said that the actress will be seen in important scenes with Salman. For the film, the superstar has, apparently, shed pounds off his bulky physique to sport a lean look. Bharat is the official adaptation of 2004 super hit South Korean film Ode To My Father. It is the story of a man who separates from his family during the South Korean war and his journey in reuniting with them.

Produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, Bharat will go on floors in September and is slated to release on Eid 2019.
