John Abraham spoke a lot more than just movies at a recent event where he was promoting his upcoming, Satyameva Jayate. When asked about an on-going spat with his Garam Masala co-star, Akshay Kumar, the actor hinted at their reunion on screen with it's sequel, putting all rumors to rest.
Recently, there was a lot of buzz revolving around the clash of release dates of AkshayKumar's Gold and John Abraham's Satyamev Jayate. When asked about the same, John sushed all these rumors by saying, " A few days back, I was watching Garam Masala and called up Akshay(Kumar). I said ' let's do Garam masala 2' , to which Akshay replied 'You write it Sundi(referring to his character in the movie), and let's do it!"

Well, this certainly puts all spat rumors to rest.
Akshay also had something similar to say when he was asked about his opinion on clashing of the release dates. Kumar stated, "Yes, John is a friend. And there are many festive release dates for Bollywood films. Like Diwali, Eid, Christmas. And I will also come on them because everybody in the industry is a friend."
Whether it was in good spirits, this means that there could be a sequel to their comedy drama. John also stated that he misses doing comedy movies and would love to work on some such project in future.
The actors have previously worked on many films such as Housefull 2, Desi Boys and Welcome Back, to name a few.
On the work front, John will be seen in Robbie Grewal's Romeo Akbar Walter with Jackie Shroff. He will also be seen in Nikhil Advani's Batla House. His upcoming, Satyameva Jayate is directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. The film produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment is slated to release on the 71st Independence Day of our nation.
