After playing the role of an angry young man in multi-starrer Race 3, it seems actor Saqib Saleem has moved on to his next project already. Apparently, Saqib will next be seen in a short film directed by Ashish Patil. The makers have also roped in Bhumi Pednekar to star alongside the actor.
A source informed a leading daily, "Bhumi and Saqib's debut films were produced by the same production house. So, they have known each other for a while now. What's also co-incidental is that Saqib was a part of Bombay Talkies and Bhumi was a part of Lust Stories, which was the second instalment of the film."
Talking about their body of work, the source added, While both Saqib and Bhumi are known for their penchant for portraying challenging roles, they have successfully carved a niche for themselves in the commercial space as well."
