It is not unknown that actors Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor are going to share screen space in Anees Bazmee's Total Dhamaal. The film, the third instalment of his popular comedy franchise which is all about greed and people chasing money. Interestingly, during the film's shoot, the two stars developed a mutual admiration towards each other and decided to feature together in Anees' Saade Saati too.
But now it seems the makers will have to wait a while till the film goes on floors. As per a report in a leading daily, the film has been pushed ahead due to prior work commitments of both the actors. The comic caper, which was slated to go on floors in November, needs a 55-day shoot to get completed and it can only be done when it fits both the actors' schedule.
Both Anil and Ajay have an interesting lineup of films. Anil will next be seen in Fanney Khan opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. He will then shoot for Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with daughter Sonam Kapoor and Juhi Chawla, apart from Total Dhamaal with Ajay and Madhuri Dixit-Nene. He also has India’s Olympics gold medallist Abhinav Bindra’s biopic on the cards, which will feature him alongside son Harshvardhan Kapoor.
On the other hand, Ajay has projects like Total Dhamaal and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. He has also been roped in for Luv Ranjan's untitled film with Ranbir Kapoor. Apart from this, Ajay will also be seen in Neeraj Pandey’s Chanakya, based on the life legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
Meanwhile, presented by Fox Star Studios, Total Dhamaal is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Maruti and Fox Star Studios and is directed by Indra Kumar. The film will release on December 7, 2018.
