Katrina Kaif may have opted for a quiet birthday celebration with her friends and sisters, Shah Rukh took the onus on himself to treat her fans with something special as a return gift!

On the actress' 35th, Khan tweeted an adorable letter along with Kaif's first look from their upcoming film Zero. Now that's what you call a birthday treat! You have SRK to thank for.

In Zero, Katrina is apparently playing a superstar who is suffering from alcoholism. Going by the look, the actress looks to be lost in a land of billion lights while she seeks comfort standing amongst the strangers.

Since she first appeared on the 70 mm alongside Salman Khan, Katrina has only managed to wow us with her ever-evolving acting chops and looks that only got hotter by the year! From Sheila to Chikni Chameli and Dhoom 3 to Tiger Zinda Hai - Katrina has been a surprise box we will never get tired of!

After a blockbuster outing with Salman Khan in December last year, Katrina is currently busy filming with two other Khans - Shah Rukh and Aamir. She reunites with her Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars, Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma for Aanand L. Rai's Zero while her second collaboration with Aamir also casts her alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in Vijay Krishna Acharya directed Thugs of Hindostan. 

The actress also is in talks for a sequel to Dostana, as the rumour mills have it. Besides, in an interview with a leading daily, Kaif revealed she has planned her big career move already. She has chucked out an autobiography from the list, and is working on a project besides also considering few other business lines.
