India has finally woken up to the excitement of web series and original content on digital platforms. After the success of the web series like Permanent Roommates and Girl in the City, even major Bollywood actors like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and directors like Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane have found the lure of the medium. Saif and Nawazuddin star in Sacred Games along with Radhika Apte, which was released two weeks back. Directed by Kashyap and Motwane, the web series grabbed enough eyeballs, followed by Sunny Leone's just premiered, Karenjit Kaur The Untold Story, which is receiving strong worded reactions from the audience.

Now, it is reported that our very own desi girl Priyanka Chopra has also caught the web series bug and would be venturing into one soon! However, knowing PeeCee who does things in a big way she is in talks with production houses in the US for a fiction series which will air on one of the top online streaming platforms.

Priyanka was the first mainstream Bollywood actress to make her international debut with the American TV show, Quantico She also made her Hollywood debut in Baywatch opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. She will also be seen in two other films A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic?

Priyanka will be making her comeback to Bollywood in Bharat opposite Salman Khan. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is a period drama and also stars Tabu, Sunil Grover, and Disha Patani.

She will also be seen in Shonali Bose’s film The Sky is Pink which is based on Aisha Chaudhary’s life. Priyanka will be reuniting with her Dil Dhadakne Do co-star Farhan Akhtar in the film. Farhan and Priyanka will play parents to Dangal girl Zaira Wasim who essays the role of Aisha in the film.
