Kartik Aaryan is still riding high on the success of his third and biggest film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The film was his third collaboration with director Luv Ranjan after Pyaar Ka Punchnama series. The surprising box-office hit of SKTS gave the actor an instant success. In fact, he recently hosted the famous IIFA Awards 2018 in Bangkok. Previously celebrities like Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, and Shahid Kapoor have taken the stage.

Now, news comes in that producer Ajay Kapoor of Kyta Productions has joined hands with the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star for his next project. The yet to be titled film will be an official remake of the super hit Kannada flick Kirik Party which was directed by Rishab Shetty and ran for over 150 days in cinemas. It is a coming of age-romantic film which promises sensational chartbuster music. It deals with a central theme of how friendship and love can turn a boy into a compassionate man.

Joining Kartik in this remake will be National Award Winner Abhishek Jain who was given the honour for Best Feature Film in Gujarati for Wrong Side Raju. He is also known for directing the super hit movie Bey Yaar. Confirming this project the producer said, "We at Kyta Productions are very excited to start work on the Hindi remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party with Gen-X star Kartik Aaryan. The film will also mark the directorial debut of Abhishek Jain, an extremely talented filmmaker. The film will go on floors this October."

Post the success of Parmanu, Kyta Productions went on to announce RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter) starring John Abraham. They also have Vishal Bharadwaj’s directorial Pataakha with several other exciting projects in the pipeline. This untitled film with Kartik will be produced by Dheeraj Wadhawan, Ajay Kapoor of Kyta Productions and Vrithika Laykar.
