Director Aanand L Rai has done a mammoth task of bringing two most loved superstars of this generation -- Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, in one frame with his film, Zero. The filmmaker though doesn't consider it as something big.
He was present at the trailer launch of his upcoming comedy film, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, which he co-produces with Krishika Lulla. Apart from answering various questions about the Sonakshi Sinha starrer, the producer also talked about Zero, his upcoming directorial, which features SRK in the lead as a vertically challenged man.
When asked if it was difficult to have both the Khans feature together in his film, Rai gave quite an easy answer. He said he looks at both Salman and Shah Rukh as two individuals and beyond their stardom. He said, "I don’t feel like that (any difficulty in directing two big stars). I feel very fortunate that way. I am not saying this as a director but as a person. When you meet someone and understand the person behind that star, then you stop looking at them as stars. There’s a relationship and an atmosphere that gets built".
He added, "I would say they both never made me feel that they were superstars. That’s their magnanimity".
Rai had released a teaser of the song featuring the two stars from Zero on Eid last month. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead, apart from other Bollywood faces making special appearances in it.
