Priyanka Chopra might just have walked out of Bharat, the big 2019 Eid release, featuring Salman Khan in the lead. A leading daily has learnt that the actress called up the makers on Thursday, July 26 to inform them about the development. The report cites Priyanka bagging a 'bigger project' as the reason behind this shocking step.
The global beauty was supposed to kick-start shooting for Bharat with a Holi song, going to be shot next month in Mumbai. She was reportedly expected to join the team of the period drama after finishing the 10-days shoot schedule of Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink.

Interestingly, Priyanka never visibly used social media to mention her association with Bharat. While she announced the film based on Ayesha Choudhary's book, through a nice Instagram post, the same excitement could never be seen when it came to Bharat. Or tell us that we are reading too much into this!
The actress and Salman have worked together in many films including Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Salaam-e-Ishq (2007) among others.
Though these are flying rumours, any official announcement by either party is yet to be made.
