Priyanka Chopra might have exited Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat opposite Salman Khan for reasons which are not confirmed yet, but she sure is doing Shonali Bose’s directorial opposite Farhan Akhtar and Dangal girl Zaira Wasim. The film is tentatively titled The Sky Is Pink and is based on the true-life story of Aisha Chaudhary, a motivational speaker and an author. The film’s dialogues are written by Juhi Chaturvedi.
Priyanka and Farhan play parents to Zaira who will be essaying the role of Aisha in the film. The film is based on Aisha’s book My Little Epiphanies. Aisha was born with immune deficiency disorder and at the age of 13 years was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. She gave motivational speeches in platforms like TEDx, INK etc. She later passed away at the age of 18. Today, Siddharth Roy Kapur who is producing the film shared a sneak peek video of the stars prepping up for their roles. Siddharth shared the video as a tease for what’s to come in future. The film is untitled as of now and it's called as RKF Productions No-1.

The video shows a happy Priyanka entering the sets and going through wardrobe selections and suggestions. Farhan can be seen in a serious discussion with producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth, from the looks of it he is probably describing his character’s physical appearance. We get to see a tailor hard at work and a cinematographer who is checking out the scenes. Shonali is also seen laughing it out with her lead actors.
It was reported earlier that Priyanka and Zaira had started prep for their roles and taking part in workshops together. The film is slated to go on floors on August 8.
Priyanka and Farhan are reuniting for the film after being paired opposite each other in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. Apparently, Priyanka has reduced her remuneration for the film but will be taking a share of the profit, another first for her as she becomes the first female star in Bollywood to do this.
