Eminent Bollywood screenplay-dialogue writer Jalees Sherwani is no more. He passed away today evening, and the cause of his death remains unknown. Jalees was popular for writing songs and dialogues for Salman Khan's films. He has collaborated with the actor in films like Garv, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge, Hello Brother, Wanted and recently penned a song for 2017 release Tiger Zinda Hai.
Jalees kickstarted his career in 1987 with film Pratigath for which he wrote the dialogues, followed by popular films like Sangram, Carnival, Mafia etc.

He was also the President of Film Writers' Association between 2014-2016.
